At three and a half she did 90 days of easy training to start (3 days a week, 20min per time) and she was a gem. She then had a few months of trails in the fall and had the winter off then began, at age 4, her life as a dressage horse (little to her knowledge). When she turned four and a half, we began riding with Uwe Steiner. Under Uwe's tutalige, both Broadway and I both blossomed. It was a pretty rocky start but we finally found forward and all began to look better.

Now Broadway is 6 and a half and we have begun to ride with Heather Mason. Uwe Steiner is wonderful but I have decided to "buckle down" and get to work! To do this, I need more consistent and frequent instruction than once a month clinics. And now that we are truly forward and accepting the aids, we are ready to push ourselves.

Heather Mason has been terrific. Her teaching style is excellent and her knowledge is unparalleled. In only a few lessons, she had Broadway and I progressing by leaps and bounds. My goal is to be showing at First level and training Second in 2003. Broadway has the talent, now if her mother/rider could figure out what she is doing, the "sky's the limit"!
